South Central Railway has called for applications to hire 4,103 apprentices. Interested candidates can apply on scr.indianrailways.gov.in. The online application form will be available until November 3 at 11:59 p.m.
Candidates who have passed Class 10 have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from the National Vocational Training Council or the State Vocational Training Council can apply for apprenticeship. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Class 10 and ITI exams. Although there is no written test or defense, selected candidates will be required to pass a medical examination.

Qualification for education: Candidates must have passed the 10th or its equivalent (under the 10 + 2 examination system) with at least 50% of marks in total. One must hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from any institute recognized by the National Vocational Training Council or the State Vocational Training Council.
Age limit: Applicants must have reached the age of 15 and must not be over 24 by October 4, 2021. However, age relaxations of up to 5 years would be granted to SC, ST applicants and a 3-year flexibility to applicants. OBC candidates. .

Applicants can apply online at the official scr.indianrailways.gov.in website. Here is a step by step process
Step 1: Applicants will first need to register on the official SCR portal
Step 2: Once enrolled, they can complete the SCR Apprentice Application Form
Step 3: Then they will have to upload the required documents in the specified size and format
Step 4: The last and final step includes paying the application fee of Rs 100 and downloading the confirmation page for future reference.
Selected candidates will be trained by the Central Apprenticeship Council. With each request, a fee of Rs 100 will apply. Applicants belonging to categories SC, ST and women are exempt from paying fees.
