Keiser University, a leader in online learning since 1998, has been recognized for distinction in online learning for a fourth consecutive year, winning a pair of Catalyst Awards for Achievement and Evaluation of students and institutional effectiveness.
Founded in 2005, the annual Catalyst Awards recognize and honor innovation and excellence in Anthology’s global community of practice, where millions of educators and learners work every day to redefine what is possible by leveraging of technology. Winners are selected by a cross-functional team of anthology experts and represent the best in their field. The Catalyst Awards were expanded when Anthology and Blackboard combined in 2021.

Keizer University was one of only five higher education institutions to win a Catalyst Award in more than one category in 2022 and joined the University of Texas at El Paso as the only universities in the United States to have won several Catalyst awards. A total of 50 Catalyst Awards were presented in nine separate categories.
Keizer University was one of only three universities worldwide, and the only institution in the United States, to earn a Catalyst Award for Student Success which recognizes institutions that innovatively use Blackboard and/or Anthology solutions to increase retention, completion, and/or improve student outcomes through the implementation of new academic resources, data analytics solutions, scalable counseling and intervention; and student support programs.
Keizer University was also one of six institutions awarded the Catalyst Award for Evaluation and Institutional Effectiveness. The award recognizes institutions that have successfully developed their assessment practices and influenced positive behavior change through methods such as developing collaborative assessment best practices, implementing assessment tools and technologies. assessment that have improved efficiency and the creation of assessment initiatives that lead to evidence-based decisions about curriculum. efficiency.

Keizer University was a pioneer in virtual learning when it began offering online education in 1998 through an agreement with e-college that provided one of the first virtual learning environments available to colleges and the universities. Since 2013, every course enrolled at Keizer University includes an e-learning shell that provides users with a platform for communication and content sharing. While not used by all courses in the field, the shell allows teachers to quickly transition from classroom to virtual learning.
This is the fourth time in as many years that Keizer University has been recognized for the quality of delivery and effective results of its online division. In 2021, the University was one of 12 worldwide to win the Change Management Award. Keizer University has been named the 2020 Catalyst Prize Winner for Training and professional developmentand in 2019, Keizer was the winner of the Catalyst Award for Student Success.
