Strong attendance at USP Open Day 2022

The highest turnout was recorded with over 115 schools registered for USP’s Open House 2022.

This is the highest number of school registrations.

USP Director of Marketing and Communications Jenies Mudiliar said this year’s open house was one of the university’s most anticipated events since the pandemic and the purpose of the day is that students participate in and explore the studies, programs, courses and other opportunities offered such as extracurricular activities and campus life.

She says that USP aims to provide a holistic learning experience with a wide range of staff and students from different countries, as many students from the West and North Divisions will continue their studies from the Laucala campus with an increasing number of students enrolling in Pacific TAFE and foundation studies.

Mudiliar also reminds that provisional applications for semester 1 2023 are open until January.

However, Inoke Kautia from Nasinu Secondary School says the open day allowed her to explore and learn about the programs and courses offered by the university.

Kautia, who wants to continue her scientific career, says she is excited and looking forward to starting her journey next year.
