UBTEB attends East African Association for Educational Evaluation Executive Meeting


KAMPALA – In the pursuit of excellence in TVET assessment, institutional linkages are essential in the UBTEB program. The Council is committed to working closely with like-minded national and international entities to foster quality education assessment.

UBTEB has joined with the other East African Assessment Committees under the Association to discuss strategic interventions to advance quality assessment in the region.

“We are honored to attend the East African Association for Assessment Executive Meeting at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) offices in Nairobi, Kenya,” Oyesigye Onesmus said. , executive Secretary.

Importantly, UBTEB enjoys global membership in prestigious international associations such as the International Association for Vocational Education and Training, the Association for Educational Evaluation in Africa and the International Association for Educational Evaluation. In 2014, UBTEB hosted the IVETA conference at the Africana Hotel in Kampala.

As part of the integration of the East African Community, the bringing together of assessment bodies in the region will strengthen the standards of our education systems.
